Dr. Kamal Gupta, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who was born in Kenya and educated in England. He is a graduate of Queen’s Medical Center in Nottingham, England and a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Academy of Surgeons. Dr. Gupta moved to the United States in 1986 where he continued his education at State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York, and earned an additional Fellowship in Retina from New York University in New York City.
Dr. Gupta moved from New York to Michigan in 1990 to be close to his family and join an ophthalmic practice in Southfield. He opened his own private practice in 1993, and currently has two clinic locations; Brownstown and Wayne, MI.
